Shower and restroom combination trailers

Tampa Shower and Restroom Combination Trailer Rentals for Remote Crews and Construction Sites

Shower and restroom combination trailer rentals put a toilet, a shower and hot and cold water in every individual stall, so a crew can wash and use a restroom without leaving the site. We rent three sizes, 13, 22 and 30 ft with 3, 6 and 8 stalls, for projects from a two-week outage to a multi-month camp. Beyond the shower and restroom combination trailer, Life Support Service means whatever else a basecamp needs on day one: bunk bed sleeper trailers, standalone shower trailers, restroom trailers, laundry trailers, a mobile commercial kitchen, commercial dishwashing trailers, remote man camp or workforce housing layouts, and emergency refrigeration if a walk-in cooler or freezer is lost. Use them when a facility closes without warning or when a project schedule calls for temporary facilities months ahead. Short-term and long-term rentals are available, with weekly and monthly periods. We work with contractors, industrial and energy operators, public agencies, healthcare and education facilities, and hospitality and catering businesses. We coordinate delivery, placement and setup around your site access and schedule. From Midland pads to Baton Rouge renovation sites, the request is the same: clean, working facilities for a crew. 02 What it is

What a Shower and Restroom Combination Trailer Does

A shower and restroom combination trailer is a rented, towable hygiene facility with individual stalls that each include a shower and a toilet, used when permanent facilities are closed, remote or not built yet.

Each stall is self-contained, so one person can use the toilet while another showers in the next stall. That is what separates a combination trailer from a standalone shower trailer, which has shower heads and sinks only, and from a restroom trailer, which has toilets and sinks only. For a remote man camp, combination units usually cost less in floor space and hookups than two separate trailers.

Crews working on hurricane recovery in Lake Charles, interstate expansion in San Antonio or an interchange rebuild in Tampa all use the same format: individual stalls, hot and cold water, entry steps, and a utility plan agreed before delivery. Shower and restroom trailer leasing by the month follows long jobs, and weekly rentals suit short ones.

03 Combination, shower or restroom?

Choosing Between a Combination, Shower and Restroom Trailer

Combination trailer

Every stall has a toilet and a shower. Best when a camp or yard has neither, or when floor space is tight.

Standalone shower trailer

Shower heads and sinks only. Best when toilets already exist and washing is the bottleneck.

What Every Combination Trailer Needs

Each combination trailer in our records lists 120v/240v service at 200 amps, so a generator or utility feed has to be sized for the total, not for one unit. Hot and cold water need a potable supply, and every stall in use needs a wastewater route: a sewer connection, or a holding tank with a pump-out schedule.

Placement matters as much as utilities. Look for a level pad, a tow-in path that suits a 13, 22 or 30 ft trailer, and clearance along the door side for the entry steps. Add 4 to 6 hours for a ramp and 5 to 15 minutes for stairs.

  • 120v/240v, 200 amp service per unit
  • Potable water for hot and cold water
  • Sewer, holding tank or pump-out
  • Level pad and tow-in path
  • Door-side clearance and entry steps
  • Ramp or stairs where needed

05 Built into a camp

Combination Trailers as the Center of a Remote Man Camp

Long multi-use trailer with sleeping rooms, a shower and a restroom, and several entry stairs

A remote man camp usually starts with a shower and restroom combination trailer, then adds the rest of the Life Support Service: bunk bed sleeper trailers for rest, a laundry trailer for work clothes, a mobile commercial kitchen and dishwashing trailer for meals, and emergency refrigeration if a commercial cooler or freezer fails.

Remote workforce shower trailers and remote workforce laundry trailer leasing are the two additions that most improve a camp. Remote workforce bunk bed trailer rentals complete it. We plan them as one layout so walking distances stay short and utilities are shared sensibly.

Local context

Where combination trailers get used

Five things that shape a rental in this place, each with its public source. Planning scenarios are labeled as scenarios, never as past jobs.

  1. 01

    Past emergencies and recovery needs

FEMA's declaration records show the pattern: Hurricane Harvey designated 53 Texas counties in August 2017, the February 2021 winter storms designated all 254, Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Ida each designated all 64 Louisiana parishes, and Hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton followed in Florida between 2022 and 2024. After events like these, repair and restoration crews often work out of staging yards with no showers or restrooms.

Combination trailers with individual stalls are one way to supply them. That is a planning scenario, and we make no claim to have served any of these events.

  2. 02

    Major construction

TxDOT's I-35 NEX Central is a $1.5 billion, 9.5 mile design-build project through northeast San Antonio, Live Oak, Selma and Schertz, expected to finish in late 2027. In Tampa, FDOT's $227.5 million Downtown Tampa Interchange is expected to finish in spring 2027. In Lake Charles, the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge reached financial close at $2.3 billion in August 2024.

Corridor projects keep contractor crews at staging yards for years, which is where temporary showers and restrooms earn their keep. State and city pages carry the detail for each.

  3. 03

    Major renovation

Public and institutional buildings stay in use while they are renovated. The Louisiana State Capitol's renovation and waterproofing is estimated at $113 million, with tours continuing on changed routes. Midland ISD has registered a $15.5 million renovation of San Jacinto Junior High, and San Antonio approved more than $29 million of Alamodome upgrades in 2023.

Contractors on those sites need restrooms and washing space that does not depend on the building under work.

  4. 04

    Emergency equipment access

Published emergency logistics differ by state. Texas's governor reported a resource staging area at NRG Park in Houston during Hurricane Beryl in July 2024. Florida's Unified Logistics Plan places the State Logistics Response Center in Orlando and the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee. For other places we found no published staging-to-hub route and publish none.

State road tools such as DriveTexas, Florida 511 and Louisiana 511 show live closures. We plan delivery routes with your site contact on the day and keep them separate from public emergency operations.

FAQ

Combination trailer questions

What is a shower and restroom combination trailer?

A trailer with individual stalls that each contain a toilet, a shower and hot and cold water. It is different from a standalone shower trailer, which has showers only, and a restroom trailer, which has toilets only.

What sizes are available?

13 ft with 3 stalls, 22 ft with 6 stalls and 30 ft with 8 stalls. Availability is confirmed for your dates and location.

What utilities do they need?

Each is listed for 120v/240v service at 200 amps, a potable water supply, and a wastewater route (sewer, holding tank or pump-out).

Can I rent one for a week?

Yes. Rental periods are one week or monthly, short-term or long-term.

Do the stalls lock or have individual doors?

The records describe individual stalls. Door and lock details are not confirmed for every unit; ask what applies to the unit assigned to your rental.

In practice

Where crews put this to use

Large Midland crews finish shifts together, which is why bigger stall counts matter on the pads. Tampa lots are tight, so a 13 or 22 ft unit often fits where a 30 ft trailer cannot. Lake Charles crews often finish together at industrial shift change, so stall count follows the shift.

Houston crews finishing a shift together are why peak demand, not total headcount, sets the number of stalls. San Antonio contractors rotate crews in waves, so we size the stalls to the shift change.
