San Antonio Restroom and Shower Trailer Leasing for Remote Workforce Housing Camps

San Antonio is a city of long projects: a multi-year interstate expansion on its north side, a 30-year-old stadium under renovation, and storm recovery that has touched Bexar County more than once. Restroom and shower trailer leasing here gives corridor crews, venue contractors and recovery teams individual stalls with hot water, for an emergency closure or a planned phase. Lease by the month for work that runs for years or rent by the week for a short job. Our team coordinates delivery around lane changes, site access and setup with your contact in Live Oak, Schertz or downtown. Crews near Houston or Midland can request a quote the same way. Around the shower and restroom combination trailer, Life Support Service covers the rest of the camp: remote workforce housing and man camp layouts, bunk bed sleeper trailers, laundry trailers, separate shower trailers and restroom trailers, mobile commercial kitchens, commercial dishwashing, and emergency refrigeration for a failed walk-in cooler. Call or send a rental brief to check availability and request a quote.

Planning

Where the trailers go

Staging yards in Live Oak and Selma sit close to the I-35 work, while Schertz and New Braunfels add room for larger layouts. Seguin and Boerne are the usual choices when the project is outside the loop. Confirm water and power at each; most yards have neither at the size a combination trailer needs.

A phased layout along the corridor

Corridor work moves, so the facilities may need to move with it. We can plan a first position near Live Oak and a second near Schertz or Selma and quote the relocation up front, which is simpler than discovering the need later.

For a venue or campus project downtown, a 13 or 22 ft unit may fit where a 30 ft trailer cannot, and a second unit can follow when headcount peaks. New Braunfels and Seguin projects usually have more room but fewer utilities, so ask about generator power and wastewater early; Boerne sites vary widely.

Local context

San Antonio: Five Local Facts That Shape a Rental

Five things that shape a rental in this place, each with its public source. Planning scenarios are labeled as scenarios, never as past jobs.

  1. 01

Past emergencies: Harvey and the 2021 winter storms

FEMA's declaration records list Bexar County for Hurricane Harvey (DR-4332, declared August 25, 2017) and for the February 2021 severe winter storms (DR-4586, declared February 19, 2021). The winter storm declaration covered all 254 Texas counties.

For a city that is not on the coast, those two events show different failure modes: wind and rain in one, freezing pipes and power loss in the other. A building that loses water or heat can close for repairs, and a crew rebuilding it still needs to wash and use a restroom on site. A trailer on the lot is one way to cover that, described here as a scenario rather than a past job.

  2. 02

Major construction: I-35 NEX Central through Live Oak, Selma and Schertz

TxDOT's I-35 NEX Central covers 9.5 miles of non-tolled improvements on I-35 from I-410 North to FM 3009, through northeast San Antonio, Live Oak, Selma and Schertz. The $1.5 billion design-build contract belongs to Alamo NEX Construction, a joint venture of Ferrovial Construction and Webber. Construction began in June 2022 with completion expected in late 2027; TxDOT's October 2025 progress story reported the project past the halfway point.

A job that size runs on crews working along a corridor for years. Temporary showers and restrooms at staging yards in Live Oak or Schertz keep those crews off the road between shifts. Lane changes alter delivery routes, so we plan access with your contact and the current closures.

  3. 03

    Major renovation: Alamodome upgrades

On September 1, 2023, Texas Public Radio reported that San Antonio City Council approved contracts totaling more than $29 million for the Alamodome: about $20 million to Skanska for 18 new suites and other upgrades tied to hosting the 2025 NCAA tournament, and about $9 million to fix structural issues at the 30-year-old building. Work was scheduled to begin in fall 2023 and finish in January 2025, after which the city would consider further work.

Large public venues stay in use during renovation, which is where temporary facilities earn their keep: contractors and venue staff on the same site need restrooms and washing space that does not depend on the building being worked on.

Emergency equipment access: what we found for Bexar County

We did not find a published staging area for San Antonio and will not guess one. What is public is the corridor work: I-35 NEX Central is under construction on the north side, so lane shifts and closures change how a trailer reaches a site from day to day.

DriveTexas lists current conditions. We use it with your site contact to choose the delivery route on the day. Public emergency operations and our own deliveries are separate, and we make no statement that a route is reserved for either.

Local rental costs: how a San Antonio quote is built

Price depends on unit size, rental period (one week or monthly), delivery to your address, setup and wastewater handling. Starting prices are in the recommended rentals section of this page, and every San Antonio quote is written for your site and states what is included. Delivery timing is confirmed for the location when you ask.
